Slate Stone
Slate is a metamorphic rock that is fine-grained, foliated, and homogenous. Roofing slates, commonly known as roofing shingles, can be produced from slate. Slate tiles are frequently used for internal and external flooring, as well as wall cladding. Tiles are laid on mortar and grouted along the edges. Sealants are frequently used on tiles to improve longevity and aesthetics, stain resistance, efflorescence, and surface smoothness.
